The Triumph Bonneville took its name from Johnny Allen’s successful Triumph-engined attempt to take the world speed record for two-wheeled machines on the Salt Flats in 1956. On September 6, his 650cc Triumph hit 214 mph! The Triumph Bonneville was produced in response to U.S. demand. It hit the streets in 1959, and the tu-tone paint job earned the bike its “Tangerine Dream” sobriquet. In time it became the most popular bike of its era, and a good example today is virtually priceless… This model has been produced by a bunch of Dutch crazies, is incredibly detailed, and consists of over 400 separate parts! It is a large and fragile model. We are the only U.S. company selling these. Comes with a beautiful embossed and numbered Certificate of Origin. We have a very limited stock of these, so you better hurry! The bike is 13 ½” long, 7” tall.
